Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Zalcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Supermies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalcock comes to the cage accompanied by El Metro. Sami Supermies will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalcock throws a jab when Supermies was well out of range.
Zalcock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Supermies was well out of range. Poor timing from Zalcock.
Zalcock throws a combination. Supermies tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Sami Supermies has been cut.
No joy there for Supermies, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zalcock moves into range and clinches up with Supermies.

Supermies throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zalcock sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zalcock shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Supermies's guard.

Supermies wants to get back to his feet.

Supermies is defending against the submission attempts here by Zalcock.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Zalcock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Supermies stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Supermies wants it to stay on the feet.

and Zalcock counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Zalcock is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Supermies!
Zalcock moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Supermies has worked his arm free - good work by Supermies!
Zalcock swings around for an armbar but Supermies sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Zalcock's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Zalcock here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Zalcock manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Supermies manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zalcock is looking to pass Supermies's guard but actually Supermies recovers to full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zalcock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
