Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordan Vukovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Killing In The Name Of - By Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic keeps Roberts at a distance using the push kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vukovic dives in and grabs Roberts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roberts pushes down on Vukovic's head and hops out.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Roberts crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vukovic - the referee stops the clock and Roberts gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vukovic. Roberts manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Roberts shoots for a double leg takedown but Vukovic sprawls well. He's pushed Roberts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Vukovic here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Let's hope that Roberts has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
