PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Izumi Sasuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izumi Sasuke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Hester!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hester looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sasuke is fending him off so far but Hester persists. Nope, Sasuke circles away and we're back to standing.
Hester motions for Sasuke to come forward. Hester throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hester changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sasuke tries to avoid it but Hester manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sasuke to the ground. Sasuke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hester shoots in looking for a takedown. Sasuke tries to sprawl out of it but Hester keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sasuke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Izumi Sasuke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Hester.
Hester throws a right and a left that Sasuke avoids nicely.

Sasuke decides to stand back up. Sasuke steps back and let's Hester get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Sasuke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hester doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hester manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
