The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Klown misses.
jarvae dodges the punch combination from Klown.
Klown wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
jarvae plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
jarvae fails with a takedown attempt.
jarvae throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Klown's waist but Klown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing jarvae off to one side.
jarvae attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Klown sizes up jarvae with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

jarvae lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Klown lands a nice shot to the head.
jarvae is bucking up trying to escape but Klown cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Klown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
jarvae is wriggling around trying to escape.
jarvae sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Klown thows a huge punch but jarvae dodges it nicely.
jarvae works his way to full guard. Good work.

Klown throws and elbow that misses. jarvae uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Klown's guard. Nice move by jarvae!

Klown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and jarvae defends well.
Klown trying to keep a closed guard but jarvae is proving a slippery customer.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as jarvae accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

jarvae drops back looking for a leg! Klown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Klown manages to kick jarvae off! jarvae jumps back into Klown's guard.

jarvae thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Klown's head.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

jarvae feints and as Klown raises his hands in defense, jarvae changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Klown is looking for a sweep. jarvae is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

jarvae has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Klown defend it? jarvae steps over the head and cranks it - Klown is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for jarvae!
