Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawasaki Dojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dojo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Dojo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dojo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cartman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cartman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Dojo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cartman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dojo shoots for a double leg takedown but Cartman sprawls well. He's pushed Dojo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Daniel Cartman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kawasaki Dojo.
Dojo misses with a straight left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Dojo finds it's way through Cartman's defenses.
Dojo throws the left hand but Cartman avoids the punch easily.
Dojo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cartman circles away quickly and effectively.
Cartman shoots for a double leg takedown but Dojo sprawls well. He's pushed Cartman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dojo tries to score with a low kick but Cartman moves his leg out of the way.
Dojo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dojo shoots in for a takedown but Cartman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dojo fails to land with a series of punches.
Dojo throws a right and a left that Cartman avoids nicely.
Dojo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dojo looks gassed!
Cartman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dojo.
No joy there for Dojo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cartman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dojo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dojo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cartman.
Cartman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dojo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kawasaki Dojo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dojo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Cartman tries to move to mount but Dojo blocks the move with his legs.
Dojo tries to bench press Cartman off him but Cartman keeps the position.
Cartman takes a little break here. Dojo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Dojo is not content to let Cartman control the position.
Cartman has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dojo!

Cartman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dojo tries to lock up and control but Cartman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cartman takes Dojo's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.
Dojo can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Daniel Cartman.

Cartman is looking to take a break and control but Dojo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dojo throws a leg kick but Cartman sees it coming and moves out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Cartman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dojo!

Dojo reaches up to try and control the position but Cartman seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dojo rolls and tries to escape and now Cartman has his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Daniel Cartman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cartman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
