Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aamo Kaira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Kuutamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuutamo has chosen Bad Company as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aamo Kaira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lalli Kuutamo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuutamo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kuutamo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kaira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No joy there for Kuutamo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kaira falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kuutamo counters with a stiff right hand.

Kaira misses with a body shot.
Kaira looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kuutamo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Kuutamo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kaira's half guard.
Kaira throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Kuutamo manages to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaira tries to buck Kuutamo off but Kuutamo is having none of it.

Kuutamo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kaira doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kuutamo.
Kuutamo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kuutamo looks to land a combination. Kaira sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kaira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kuutamo moves away.
Kaira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kuutamo throws a right and a left that Kaira avoids nicely.

and Kuutamo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Horrible takedown by Kuutamo or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaira which made him look bad.
Kaira stuns Kuutamo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kaira bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Aamo Kaira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kuutamo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kaira.

Kaira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kaira works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kuutamo connects with a nice looking jab.

Kuutamo feints and as Kaira raises his hands in defense, Kuutamo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kaira throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kuutamo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuutamo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kuutamo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kaira doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kuutamo stands up over Kaira, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kaira throws a couple of heel strikes.

Kuutamo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kaira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kuutamo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kaira lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

so Kuutamo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kuutamo drops back looking for a leg! Kaira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kaira manages to kick Kuutamo off! Kuutamo jumps back into Kaira's guard.

Kaira is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kuutamo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kaira's body to avoid the submission. Kaira has instead reached around Kuutamo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kaira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
