With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zach Newland!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Newland keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Newland ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Warren moves away.

Warren cracks Newland with a big right hand but Newland just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Warren is looking to take a break and control but Newland is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Warren creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Newland sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Warren connects with a good right hand that stumbles Newland. Newland circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Reggie Warren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Warren shoots in but Newland avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Warren swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Newland counter with a right hand.
Newland circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Warren to the canvas! Warren doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Newland keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zach Newland!
