Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dover Carlyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dover Carlyle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dover Carlyle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Carlyle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Carlyle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sapp misses with a double jab
and Carlyle counters with a right hand to the body.
Carlyle scores with a jab. Sapp acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carlyle lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Carlyle wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sapp prevents Carlyle from breaking the clinch.
Sapp is trying to break the clinch but Carlyle has him pressed against the cage.

Sapp manages to break the clinch.
Carlyle connects with a nice looking jab.
Carlyle tries to clinch there but Sapp circles away.
Carlyle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sapp looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sapp looks gassed!
Sapp takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Good exchange - Carlyle coming out on top.
Carlyle connects with a looping right hand.
Carlyle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sapp doesn't seem bothered though.
Sapp walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Carlyle uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sapp has time to react.

Carlyle cracks Sapp with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carlyle has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sapp to stand back up!

Sapp is rocked!

It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut.
Carlyle darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sapp's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Carlyle before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
