Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruger Teflon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ah's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drivin South. Ruger Teflon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mr Ah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruger Teflon!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ah shoots in but no luck this time.
Teflon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Teflon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Teflon lands with an overhand left.
Teflon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ah tries to clinch up.
Teflon closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ah counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Teflon's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ah is looking to work some ground and pound but Teflon has wrist control.
Ah trying to control the position from guard on top but Teflon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ah lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Teflon wants to get back to his feet but Ah is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ah throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Teflon keeping moving, preventing Ah from controlling successfully.
Ah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ah passes into half guard.

Ah is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ah is keen to just control but Teflon is a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teflon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Teflon has one foot on Ah's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Teflon tries to clinch

and Ah counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Teflon tries to break the clinch but Ah is controlling the position.

Teflon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Teflon thows a body shot but no joy.
Teflon lands with a hook. Ah tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Teflon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Mr Ah has been cut.

Teflon swats away the attempt to clinch by Ah.
Nice defenses there by Ah.
Teflon tries to clinch but Ah moves away

and Ah decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Teflon's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Teflon pushes Ah off and scrambles back to his feet.
Teflon tries to clinch but Ah is having none of it.
Ah has a takedown stuffed.
Teflon tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Ah counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Teflon's guard now.
Ah is breathing heavily.
Ah trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Ah loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Teflon wriggles free and stands up.
Teflon dips to his left and cracks Ah with an uppercut!
Teflon tries to clinch

and Ah counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Teflon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ah has Teflon pressed against the cage, preventing Teflon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ah jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Teflon walks away with a smile on his face. Ah gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Ah. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Teflon wants to clinch.
Teflon closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ah counters with a takedown into side control.
Ah working the ground and pound but Teflon is defending the strikes.

Teflon bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Teflon clinches but Ah breaks the clinch

and Ah counters by moving into the clinch.
Teflon stops a takedown attempt from Ah.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Teflon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Teflon can't break the clinch.
Teflon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Teflon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Teflon can't break the clinch.

Ah has hold of one of Teflon's legs. Teflon is fighting the takedown attempt but Ah gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ah won't allow Teflon to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ah throwing strikes but missing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Teflon wants to stand up but Ah is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Ah dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mr Ah's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Teflon darts in trying to clinch

so Ah counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ah wants to control from the top but Teflon keeps moving.
Teflon wants to get back to his feet but Ah passes into half guard.

Ah is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Teflon sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ah throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Teflon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ah.
Teflon is trying to stand back up but Ah is controlling him

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Teflon scores with a nice strike.
Teflon is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Teflon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ah looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Teflon cracks Ah with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Teflon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Teflon lands a jab to Ah's midsection.
Ruger Teflon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Teflon scores with the left hand. Ah knows he should have avoided that one.

Teflon clinches up with Ah and pushes him back against the cage.

Teflon throws out a powerful jab.
Ah displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Teflon throws out the jab.
Good exchange - Teflon coming out on top.
Teflon throws a jab when Ah was well out of range.
Ah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Teflon cracks Ah with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Teflon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ah on the side of the head.
Teflon moves in looking to clinch but Ah pushes him off.
Teflon throws a head kick but Ah moves out of range.
Teflon throws a body kick that misses.
Teflon closes the distance but Ah moves to the side

and Ah decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Teflon's guard.

Teflon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ah shoots in for a takedown but Teflon shows good takedown defense.
Ah on the wrong end of a nice hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Teflon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ah takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ruger Teflon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Ah's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Teflon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Ah counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ah is trying to control the action in half guard but Teflon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ah missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Teflon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ah.
Ah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ah seems to be working for a kimura but Teflon defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Teflon is looking to escape.

Ah is trying to control. Teflon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ah tries to keep at a distance but Teflon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ah has Teflon pressed against the cage, preventing Teflon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Teflon is trying to break the clinch but Ah is controlling him.
Ah wants a takedown.

The fighters circling - Teflon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ruger Teflon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Ah counters with a nice double leg into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ah drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ah jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ah prevents Teflon from getting back to his feet.
Mr Ah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ah working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Ah drops back looking for a leg! Teflon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Teflon manages to kick Ah off! Ah jumps back into Teflon's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Teflon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Teflon does it's job there.
Ah looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Teflon tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Ah counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Teflon wants to get back to striking at distance but Ah won't allow it.
Teflon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mr Ah showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Ah has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
