The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermias chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Forkbeard can pounce on him.
Forkbeard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Forkbeard misses with a head kick.
Hermias shoots in for a double leg but Forkbeard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Forkbeard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hermias closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Forkbeard did well to prevent Hermias getting side control.

Hermias in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Forkbeard tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hermias!
