Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pizzazz Longez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilmer Zacarias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zacarias takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Gilmer Zacarias has been cut.
Longez misses with a looping left.
Longez misses with a straight right.
Zacarias avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Longez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Longez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Zacarias fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Longez, pushing him back against the cage.

Longez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Longez throws a nice looking combination but Zacarias bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Zacarias tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Pizzazz Longez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Longez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zacarias doesn't seem bothered though.

Zacarias doesn't manage to clinch there - Longez circles away.
Longez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Longez throws out a loose jab but Zacarias uses good head movement to avoid it.
Longez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zacarias.
Longez looks to throw the jab but Zacarias is out of range.
Zacarias avoids the head kick by Longez.

Zacarias drops Longez with a beautiful combination! Longez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zacarias is looking for the KO!

It looks like Pizzazz Longez has been cut.
Longez is breathing heavily.
Longez switches off momentarily and Zacarias cracks him with a monster right hand! Longez topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Zacarias dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Zacarias!
