Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Caldwell did well to prevent Baker getting side control.
Caldwell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Baker is taking a breather. Caldwell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Baker wants to work for an arm triangle but Caldwell is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Caldwell wants to improve his position but Baker is controlling well.

Baker gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Caldwell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Baker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Caldwell did well to prevent Baker getting side control.
Caldwell is in trouble now - Baker has advanced to mount!

Baker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Baker cracks Caldwell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Caldwell is bucking up trying to escape but Baker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Baker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Caldwell manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Baker just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Baker. Caldwell shrugs it off though.

Baker moves into the clinch.

Baker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Caldwell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
