The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
vasyl bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice shot lands for Wallace.
vasyl shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed vasyl's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

vasyl fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
vasyl wants the takedown. Wallace is fighting it off but vasyl persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wallace's guard against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
vasyl drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wallace looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wallace looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wallace!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

vasyl bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.

Wallace is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

vasyl does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wallace moves into the clinch.

Wallace wants to get back to striking at distance but vasyl won't allow it.
vasyl stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

vasyl gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Wallace regains guard.
vasyl is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wallace wants to sweep here but vasyl controlling him for the moment.

vasyl drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says vasyl as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Wallace screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with vasyl! Nice submission victory there!
