Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CHUCK LIDDELL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis dodges the punch combination from LIDDELL.

LIDDELL shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than LIDDELL was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
LIDDELL trying to control but Ellis is having none of it.

LIDDELL jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ellis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ellis and LIDDELL has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

LIDDELL lands an elbow.

LIDDELL is trying to get an arm triangle but Ellis is defending well.
Ellis is pushing LIDDELL's head away, looking to escape. LIDDELL manages to hold on to the position though.
Ellis manages to get back to half guard.

LIDDELL is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ellis defends it well.

LIDDELL wants to take a breather but Ellis is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ellis wants to get back to his feet but LIDDELL is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ellis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ellis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Ellis tries to stand and escape but LIDDELL is controlling the position.

LIDDELL throws a series of strikes that have Ellis backpedaling.
Darius Ellis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ellis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ellis shoots in for a takedown but LIDDELL shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

LIDDELL has hold of Ellis's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ellis tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - LIDDELL cranks the arm and Ellis screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ellis, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
