The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carwin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jesus is trying to defend but Carwin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Carwin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jesus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Carwin wants to pass the guard but Jesus is defending well.

Carwin is nestled in close to Jesus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Carwin tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jesus controls his leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Carwin in particular looking to stall.
Carwin wants to control but Jesus is keeping him busy.
Jesus moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Carwin stands and throws Jesus's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Carwin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jesus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carwin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jesus to his feet.

and Carwin counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Jesus has his foot on Carwin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carwin works his way back into a safe position though.

Jesus has his feet on Carwin's thighs here. He's pushed Carwin off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Carwin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
