Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Belial Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kicker comes to the cage accompanied by Belgarion. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kicker, pushing him back against the cage.
Vera with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Kicker decides to pull guard.
Kicker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kicker working for a triangle but Vera defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vera throws a strike but Kicker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kicker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kicker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vera!

Vera decides to stand back up.

and Vera counters by clinching up.

Kicker blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Still in the clinch, Vera scores with a nice short uppercut.
Vera misses with a knee strike.

Kicker jumps guard but Vera stands there with Kicker around his waist. Kicker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Vera lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kicker backwards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kicker jumps guard but Vera stands there with Kicker around his waist. Kicker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kicker tries to pull guard but Vera holds him up against the cage and eventually Kicker drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Belial Kicker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vera stalls.
Vera tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Kicker fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kicker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vera smiles and moves away.

and Vera counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kicker wants to sweep here but Vera controlling him for the moment.
Vera is looking to stand up but Kicker won't let him.

Kicker has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Vera doesn't defend quickly enough and Kicker has managed to lock this one up! Can Vera escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kicker on a fantastic submission victory.
