PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crowley Osbourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainer Hagert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osbourne comes to the cage accompanied by Mr Crowley. Hagert has chosen Romanimies laulaa as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagert tries to bum rush Osbourne with a series of wild strikes but Osbourne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Osbourne bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hagert throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Osbourne shoots in looking for a takedown. Hagert tries to sprawl out of it but Osbourne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hagert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee asks Osbourne politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Osbourne prefers to stall for the moment though.

Osbourne is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hagert is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Osbourne loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hagert scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Osbourne land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Osbourne stands and salutes the crowd.
