Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Anus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes to the cage accompanied by Vote With a Bullet by Corrosion of Conformity. Anus has chosen Nick Diaz Rap Song as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Savage feints and then cracks Anus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Anus down.
Anus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Savage is fending him off so far but Anus persists. Nope, Savage circles away and we're back to standing.
Anus lands a slapping body shot.
Anus fails to land the takedown.
Anus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savage moves away.
Savage throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Savage.

Savage lands with a kick to the temple. Anus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savage - the referee stops the clock and Anus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savage. Anus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Anus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Savage can pounce on him.
Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Anus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Savage is desperately trying to improve his position but Anus has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Savage is in a horrible position here. Anus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jackson Savage will probably get the nod.

Savage is fighting off a takedown attempt but Anus is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Savage to the mat. Savage regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Savage has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Anus should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Savage has tightened it up now! Anus should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
