The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senbude thows a body shot but no joy.

Senbude closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming OShae to the mat! OShae manages to get full guard.
OShae tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Senbude thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

OShae escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Senbude gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
OShae has momentary wrist control but Senbude slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Senbude has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Senbude stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. OShae swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Senbude accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
OShae is looking to clinch.

Senbude throws a wild body kick that OShae sees coming a mile off.
Senbude shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has OShae pinned against the cage. OShae gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Senbude moves forwards but OShae connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Akira Senbude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Senbude's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Senbude duly obliges.

and OShae counters with a body kick that stops Senbude in his tracks momentarily.

Senbude is looking for a triangle here but OShae uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

OShae tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no OShae has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Senbude wants to get up but he can't break OShae's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
