Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Artiom Nevar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Parp Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parp Cannon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nile - Sacrifice Unto Sebek. Artiom Nevar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Daniel Parp Cannon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parp Cannon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nevar.

Nevar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parp Cannon defends it nicely.
Parp Cannon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Nevar wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Parp Cannon, who protects the arm well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nevar is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Parp Cannon lands a heavy elbow.
Parp Cannon has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nevar's face.

A close round but Daniel Parp Cannon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Parp Cannon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nevar pinned against the cage. Nevar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nevar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Parp Cannon is defending well though. Nevar let's go of the attempt for now.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Nevar is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parp Cannon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Artiom Nevar.

Nevar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parp Cannon is just riding it out for now. Nevar eventually gives up the hold.

Artiom Nevar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Parp Cannon is fighting to break Nevar's control of his arms but Nevar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
