The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Macarenco as he jumps to the side.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Brownie.

Brownie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Macarenco has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brownie but great work by Macarenco.
Macarenco tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brownie can't do much from the bottom here.
Brownie is looking to regain half guard here but Macarenco keeps moving and retains side control.
Brownie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Brownie is trying to maintain the position but Macarenco is very close to passing his half guard.
Macarenco is trying to control the action in half guard but Brownie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Macarenco misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brownie dodges the punch combination from Macarenco.
Brownie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Macarenco but Macarenco pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Macarenco throws a nice looking combination but Brownie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Macarenco rushes Brownie with punches - Brownie moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Brownie goes down! Macarenco follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
