Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pope Benedict (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Weiner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Benedict might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Benedict walks straight into a right hand from Weiner - that's dropped him! Weiner jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Benedict from any more punishment! Benedict complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Carlos Weiner!
