Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mack Mick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion McGinley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGinley has chosen Aint no sunshine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGinley lands a nice looking body shot.

Mick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
McGinley wants to stand but Mick is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McGinley wants to get up but he can't break Mick's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

McGinley throws a hook but Mick avoids it easily.
McGinley thuds his right hand into Mick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mick closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
McGinley stuffs the takedown attempt from Mick. Mick gets slowly back to his feet.

McGinley's corner calls for a 1-2. McGinley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mick wants to clinch up but McGinley keeps it at a distance.
McGinley cracks Mick with an open hand slap.
McGinley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mick.
Mick shoots for a double leg takedown but McGinley sprawls well. He's pushed Mick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGinley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mick's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGinley connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mick! He's out on his feet! McGinley rushes in and drops Mick with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
