The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyger slips under a jab.
Lyger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Gilstrap lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Jushin Lyger has been cut.
Lyger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gilstrap tries to avoid it but Lyger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gilstrap to the ground. Gilstrap escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gilstrap misses with an uppercut. Lyger saw that one coming.
