PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jens Little Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Constance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Little Evil kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lights Out. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Carter Constance enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little Evil lands with an uppercut that bounces Constance off the cage and back into rage.
Little Evil throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Constance feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Constance tries to free his leg and advance position but Little Evil is retaining full guard.
Little Evil wants to stand up but Constance is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Little Evil has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Constance is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Little Evil.

Constance is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Little Evil knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Little Evil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Constance wants to sweep here but Little Evil controlling him for the moment.

Little Evil drops back, looking for a kneebar! Constance looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Constance looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Constance!

Little Evil is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Constance off and has taken his back!

Constance is looking for a sweep. Little Evil is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Constance tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Little Evil has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Little Evil avoids the attempt from Constance to control.

Little Evil moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Constance has worked his arm free - good work by Constance!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Little Evil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Little Evil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Constance is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Little Evil's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carter Constance dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Constance walks into a stiff left hand from Little Evil.
Constance throws a body punch but Little Evil moves out of range.
Little Evil throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Constance stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Little Evil misses with a double jab.
Constance throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Little Evil's waist but Little Evil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Constance off to one side.
Constance scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Constance shoots in and drives through. Little Evil sprawls well.
Constance has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Little Evil finds it's way round the side to connect with Constance's head.
Little Evil lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Carter Constance has been cut.
Constance swings for the body but Little Evil moves out of range.

Constance changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Little Evil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Constance misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Constance working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Little Evil is not content to let Constance control the position.

Constance has hold of Little Evil's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Little Evil tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Constance cranks the arm and Little Evil screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Little Evil, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Carter Constance!
