Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric the hammer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ding Dong!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the hammer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dong stuffs the takedown.
Dong thumps the hammer with a low kick.
the hammer tries for a takedown but Dong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric the hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
the hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dong's waist but Dong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing the hammer off to one side.
the hammer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on the hammer. That did some damage!
A slapping body kick lands there for Dong.
the hammer is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dong lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dong lands a nice leg kick that just misses the hammer's sensitive parts.
A thudding body kick lands there by Dong!
the hammer on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A solid body kick from Dong.
Dong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on the hammer. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dong lands a big head kick that sends the hammer tumbling to the mat! Dong takes a step backwards and waves the hammer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
the hammer is rocked!
It looks like Eric the hammer has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
the hammer drops his hands momentarily and Dong needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips the hammer just on the top of the head. the hammer drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in the hammer - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ding Dong! Ding Dong retains his heavyweight title!
