The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a nice leg kick that just misses Assmark's sensitive parts.

Smith takes the fight into the clinch.

Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Assmark clinches but Smith breaks the clinch
and Smith counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Assmark pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Assmark throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith is looking to clinch but Assmark is avoiding it.

and Smith counters with a head kick.
Assmark tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Smith counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Assmark wants to break free but Smith has control.

Smith connects with a nasty looking knee right to Assmark's face.
Assmark tries to break free but Smith pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Assmark's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Assmark has had enough of the clinch but Smith keeps him there for the moment.

Smith manages to pull guard.

Assmark prevents Smith from getting back to his feet.

Assmark gets to his feet. Smith looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Smith lands with a nice combination. Assmark backs away looking to recover.

Smith breaks from the clinch.
Assmark avoids a punch combination nicely.

Oh Assmark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith flashes Assmark a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Assmark's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Assmark crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Smith punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
