Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Gray is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush slaps away a takedown attempt from Gray, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rush looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gray!
Rush wants to control the pace but Gray is squirming around nicely.

Rush jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gray is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gray and Rush has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rush tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rush has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gray is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Gray is trying to escape the position but Rush is controlling the position.

Rush is looking to take a break and control but Gray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rush might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gray kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rush is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gray is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gray is working for a kimura but Rush is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gray tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rush knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gray wants to stand up but Rush has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Gray throws a strike but Rush avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Rush is looking to improve his position but Gray isn't that keen on the idea.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Chris Gray just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Rush is trying to control the action in half guard but Gray is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rush is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gray is just riding it out for now. Rush eventually gives up the hold.

and Rush counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gray keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully.

Gray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rush's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rush drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Gray is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rush stays in close to Gray's body and controls the position.
Gray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gray wants to take a breather but Rush is having none of it.

Gray is working for an americana but Rush has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Gray was thinking about the submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Rush counters with a shoot takedown. Gray fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gray pushes Rush off and scrambles back to his feet.
