The crowd seem to be enjoying Schortsanitis's choice of entrance music: Ipoxthonios - Kane Ntou. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schortsanitis gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Schortsanitis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Schortsanitis keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Williams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Schortsanitis is keeping the position for now.
Schortsanitis wants to stand but Williams is controlling the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Williams with the ground and pound but Schortsanitis regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Williams is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Schortsanitis's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williams wants to control the pace but Schortsanitis is squirming around nicely.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Schortsanitis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Schortsanitis avoids the head kick by Williams.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Schortsanitis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Rico Williams has been cut.
Williams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schortsanitis swivels and escapes.
Schortsanitis connects with a superb combination that knocks Williams out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Schortsanitis before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Williams!
