Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ming T Chau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asgeir Borgermoen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chau comes to the ring accompanied by PRIDE FC opening theme music. Asgeir Borgermoen struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chau works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Borgermoen dodges the punch combination from Chau.
Borgermoen keeps the fight on the outside.
Borgermoen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chau keeps Borgermoen at a distance using the push kick.

Chau changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borgermoen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Chau slips a nice elbow through Borgermoen's hands, connecting with Borgermoen's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borgermoen has hold of Chau's hands but Chau slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Chau winds up and cracks Borgermoen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Chau lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Borgermoen quite badly. Borgermoen pulls Chau in close trying to recover. Chau postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Borgermoen on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Borgermoen doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
