And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistyrian defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McMaster.
Fistyrian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McMaster throws a big shot that misses.

McMaster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fistyrian wriggles free and stands up.
Fistyrian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McMaster shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fistyrian instigates a clinch.

Fistyrian gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McMaster regains guard.
McMaster is pulling down on Fistyrian's head to control his posture.
Fistyrian throwing strikes but missing.
Fistyrian sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McMaster's guard.
McMaster regains full guard. Nicely done.
McMaster has Fistyrian pulled in close to control his posture.

McMaster is trying to keep Fistyrian in close.
McMaster keeping moving, preventing Fistyrian from controlling successfully.

McMaster working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Fistyrian has passed into half guard!

McMaster looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Fistyrian is keen to just control but McMaster is a slippery customer.

McMaster is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fistyrian pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McMaster shoots in but Fistyrian avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Manuel Fistyrian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon McMaster.
McMaster wants to clinch but Fistyrian slips to the side
and Fistyrian counters with a flying knee. Nice.
McMaster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McMaster misses with a jab to the body
and Fistyrian counters with a hugh head kick that removes McMaster from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
