Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cliff Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Ketchum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sierra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Dreams-Manson. Ash Ketchum looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cliff Sierra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ash Ketchum!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ketchum is fending him off so far but Sierra persists. Nope, Ketchum circles away and we're back to standing.
Ketchum looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sierra decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sierra works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Sierra is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ketchum is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ketchum has Sierra pulled in close to control his posture.
Ketchum is trying to hold Sierra in close to prevent damage but Sierra has managed to pass into half guard.

You can see the frustration on Ketchum's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sierra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ketchum's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sierra wants to finish this one by submission but Ketchum is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sierra.

Sierra is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ketchum to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ketchum shrugs it off.

Sierra has control of Ketchum's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ketchum regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's time! Sierra's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Ketchum tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sierra's elbow.
