PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ned Schnidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schnidt comes to the cage accompanied by PHamous by Midi Mafia. Rogers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Real American. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnidt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rogers tries to keep at a distance but Schnidt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rogers is pressed up against the cage. Schnidt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rogers down to the mat. Rogers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Schnidt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Schnidt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Schnidt counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rogers!

It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.
Schnidt trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Rogers working to try and regain half guard.
Schnidt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That has opened up Steve Rogers's cut even more.

Schnidt lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Steve Rogers's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Steve Rogers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
