Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennings lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jennings gets the takedown into side control.

Jennings wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sagara, who protects the arm well.
Jennings fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jennings looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sagara is avoiding damage well.

Jennings is trying to get an arm triangle but Sagara is defending well.
Sagara might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sagara is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Sagara is not content to let Jennings control the position.

Jennings tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sagara wants to get back to his feet.
Jennings wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sagara keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sagara is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Sagara avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jennings.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jennings lands with a nice combination. Sagara backs away looking to recover.
Jennings stuns Sagara with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jennings lands a jab-cross combination.
Jennings looks gassed!
Jennings moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sagara could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sagara throws a sloppy head kick and Jennings moves out of range easily.
Jennings shoots in looking for a takedown. Sagara tries to sprawl out of it but Jennings keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sagara manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sagara shoots for a double leg takedown but Jennings sprawls well. He's pushed Sagara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sagara closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jennings did well to prevent Sagara getting side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Sagara is going to stand back up.
Jennings is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sagara's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sagara's back!

Jennings has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Sagara! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jennings gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
