Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Harlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by Penthouse. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harlow shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well.

Harlow gets the takedown into side control.
Man is looking to reverse the position.
Man is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Harlow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Harlow prevents Man from improving his position.
Harlow is looking to advance position but Man won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Man shoots for a takedown but Harlow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Harlow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Man is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cody Harlow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harlow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man tries to buck Harlow off but Harlow is having none of it.

Man explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Man cracks Harlow with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Harlow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Man lands a jab to Harlow's midsection.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Man rushes Harlow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Man throws a series of strikes that have Harlow backpedaling.

and Man counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Harlow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.
Man is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man stands up and beckons Harlow to his feet.
Harlow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harlow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Man is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Harlow's shoulder. That is not cool.
Man wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harlow keeps working.

Man decides to stand back up. Man steps back and let's Harlow get back to his feet.
Jab by Man.
Harlow takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Man scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Man throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Man moves into the clinch.
Harlow swings wildly with an uppercut but Man uses good head movement to avoid it.

Man has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Harlow regains guard immediately.

Harlow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Man is pushing Harlow up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Harlow on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Man is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Harlow has a closed guard, preventing Man from standing up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harlow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Man defends well.

Harlow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Man clinches with his opponent.
Harlow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Man gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Man escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ice Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Harlow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Man pulls his head out easily.
Harlow is looking for a sweep. Man is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Man is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harlow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Man.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Man wants to control but Harlow is keeping him busy.

Cody Harlow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ice Man is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Man seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ice Man.

Well Man has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
