Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chao closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mann circles away.
Mann lands a nice hook to Chao's body. Chao takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Chao changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mann looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chao really is a fat lump.

Chao stands up and beckons Mann to his feet.

Chao tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mann misses with a punch on the inside.

Chao works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chao takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Chao shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mann really wants to buck Chao off and get back to his feet.
Mann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chao tries to control but Mann wriggling away.

Mann's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Chao takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Chao has control of Mann's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mann regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Chao is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mann is surviving well by controlling Chao's body position as best he can.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Chao jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mann manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mann is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Chao has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Chao is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mann is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Chao swings around for an armbar but Mann sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chao's guard.
Mann would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ma Chao dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mann throws a combination. Chao tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mann lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mann.

Chao misses with a takedown attempt - Mann sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chao closes the distance and clinches up with Mann, looking for a takedown. Chao pushes Mann against the cage but Mann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stan Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chao looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Chao tries to move into range but Mann moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Mann lands a left and a right that send Chao crashing to the mat, dazed. Mann thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mann lands with a shot to the body.
Mann is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chao rather than just go for the knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mann scores with a three punch combo!
Oh Chao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mann works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Chao seems to have got his legs back now.

Mann leaves Chao with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mann dances in with a quick combination. Chao is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mann snaps Chao's head back. Chao stumbles backwards against the cage. Mann steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Chao's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Chao just didn't come prepared.
