Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Kukuev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uzi comes to the cage accompanied by Aint no sunshine. Nikolai Kukuev acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Kukuev!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukuev fails with a takedown attempt.
Kukuev shoots in for a takedown but Uzi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A right-left combo lands from Uzi.
Kukuev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uzi but Uzi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lasse Uzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolai Kukuev.
Kukuev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Uzi pinned against the cage. Uzi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kukuev misses with a takedown attempt - Uzi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Uzi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kukuev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Uzi defends it nicely.

Kukuev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uzi is fending him off so far but Kukuev persists. Nope, Uzi circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Uzi as Kukuev shoots in.
Uzi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kukuev circles away quickly and effectively.
Uzi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Uzi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Uzi duly obliges.
Kukuev looks gassed!
Uzi throws a combination. Kukuev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kukuev fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Uzi. No joy for Kukuev on that attempt.
Uzi misses with a series of wild punches.
Uzi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Uzi finds it's way through Kukuev's defenses.
Uzi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Uzi lands a jab-cross combination.
Uzi throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kukuev stumbling backwards into the cage! Kukuev bounces back off the cage towards Uzi, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Uzi lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Uzi celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lasse Uzi!
