Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arlovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Redemption as his entrance music. Andrei Arlovsky looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrei Arlovsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Jones!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Arlovsky was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jones postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arlovsky is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Arlovsky is retaining full guard.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlovsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Arlovsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Arlovsky.
Arlovsky misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Arlovsky is out of range.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Jones has hold of Arlovsky's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Arlovsky tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Arlovsky screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Arlovsky, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
