Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Boomhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitri Vasolajev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasolajev has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasolajev is looking to slow Boomhauer down with leg kicks.
Boomhauer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vasolajev wants to clinch up but Boomhauer keeps it at a distance.

Vasolajev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Vasolajev tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Boomhauer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Boomhauer trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Boomhauer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vasolajev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Vasolajev tries to close the distance and clinch but Boomhauer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vasolajev scores with a one two! Boomhauer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A left and a right from Vasolajev both land. Nice combination.
Boomhauer misses with a head kick.
Boomhauer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Vasolajev tries for a takedown but Boomhauer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Boomhauer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vasolajev avoids the head kick by Boomhauer.
Vasolajev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Boomhauer counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vasolajev is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Vasolajev shoots for a double leg takedown but Boomhauer sprawls well. He's pushed Vasolajev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boomhauer keeps the fight on the outside.
Boomhauer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boomhauer throws a head kick but Vasolajev moves out of range.
