Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiko Nakatomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Eins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keiko Nakatomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Eins!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakatomi thows a left - swing and a miss!

Eins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eins lands in his opponent's guard.
Eins trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Nakatomi manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Eins controls Nakatomi momentarily but Nakatomi frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eins being controlled here, momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Eins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nakatomi!
Eins trying to control but he's not successful this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Nakatomi tries to hold on but Eins postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Eins dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


A telegraphed right hand from Nakatomi misses the target.
Nakatomi missing with a left hand there. Eins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nakatomi misses with an uppercut. Eins saw that one coming.

Eins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Eins controlling his opponent.
Nakatomi is working to get back to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakatomi is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Eins fails to move to back control.
Nakatomi reaches up to try and control the position but Eins seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Nakatomi rolls and tries to escape and now Eins has his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakatomi is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Eins controlling well, preventing Nakatomi from escaping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nakatomi prevents Eins from getting a body triangle.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Eins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Eins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nakatomi misses with a looping left.
Eins slips a jab from Nakatomi.
Nakatomi misses with a straight right.

Eins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Eins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eins trying to control the action but Nakatomi is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nakatomi is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakatomi tries to roll over but Eins keeps him under control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Eins wants to pass the guard but Nakatomi is defending well.
Nakatomi tries to roll over but Eins keeps him under control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Nakatomi. No joy for Eins on that attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Robert Eins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Eins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
