The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus shoots in but Burner avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Burner wants to clinch up but Jesus keeps it at a distance.
Jesus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burner's waist but Burner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jesus off to one side.

Jesus drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jesus pushes down on Burner's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Burner is looking to improve his position.

Jesus is working for a kimura but Burner is defending it quite comfortably.

Jesus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
