Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Grundy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crewe misses with a two punch combination.

Grundy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Crewe tries to roll over but Grundy keeps him under control.

Crewe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Crewe is refusing to be controlled, as Grundy sits in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Grundy closes the distance and clinches up with Crewe, looking for a takedown. Grundy pushes Crewe against the ropes but Crewe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Crewe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Grundy defends it nicely.

Grundy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grundy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crewe as he avoids it easily.
Grundy misses with a takedown attempt - Crewe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well Grundy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
