Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thales Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo De Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Luca is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crank that. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Luca tries to clinch up.
De Luca is looking to slow Moreno down with leg kicks.
Moreno misses the shot to the body.

Moreno ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moreno no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Moreno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Luca accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Moreno closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Moreno is trying to control the action in half guard but De Luca is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
De Luca wants to get back to his feet.
Moreno uses his free foot to push down on De Luca's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for De Luca.
De Luca tries to lock up and control but Moreno gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
De Luca sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Moreno is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for De Luca!
Moreno swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and De Luca is now in Moreno's guard. A big mistake from Moreno there, giving up the dominant position!
Moreno wants to sweep here but De Luca controlling him for the moment.
De Luca passes easily into side control. Nice work.
De Luca connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Moreno some visible discomfort.

Moreno is desperately trying to improve his position but De Luca has a good base and remains in mount.

Moreno's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Moreno is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of De Luca's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take De Luca's back!
De Luca is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Moreno gets his way!
