Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helly Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ars Moriendi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen swings for the body but Moriendi moves out of range.
Moriendi shoots in but Hansen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Moriendi misses with a two punch combination.
Moriendi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hansen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Moriendi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hansen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Moriendi moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Moriendi postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hansen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Hansen looks to land a strike but Moriendi avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hansen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hansen is pressed up against the cage. Moriendi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hansen down to the mat. Hansen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Moriendi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hansen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Helly Hansen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ars Moriendi.

and Moriendi counters with a nice kick to the body.
Helly Hansen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hansen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Hansen counters with a three punch combo that has Moriendi backing up. Moriendi nods at Hansen to acknowledge the strikes.

and Hansen counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Moriendi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hansen closes the distance but Moriendi moves to the side
and Moriendi counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hansen looks like he's trying to stand up.

Moriendi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hansen is just riding it out for now. Moriendi eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hansen tries to kick Moriendi off but Moriendi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Moriendi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hansen!
Ars Moriendi has got the better of the ground game so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moriendi looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hansen's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Moriendi throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Ars Moriendi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moriendi has managed to clinch.
Hansen jumps into guard, dragging Moriendi to the mat.
Moriendi is stalling in the full guard.
Moriendi gets to his feet. Hansen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Moriendi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hansen won't be happy with that.

Moriendi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hansen!

Hansen tries to lock up and control but Moriendi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Moriendi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hansen wants to hold on but Moriendi pushes him away.
Helly Hansen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moriendi throws some wild stikes that Hansen manages to avoid easily.
Hansen is desperately trying to improve his position but Moriendi has a good base and remains in mount.
Hansen wants to control but Moriendi is having none of it.
Moriendi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Moriendi is looking to work his way around to Hansen's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Ars Moriendi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moriendi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
