Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigantor Ubereem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and R Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ubereem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time by RHCP. R Couture is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture tries a head kick but it misses.
Ubereem scores with a jab to the body.
Couture misses with a takedown attempt - Ubereem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ubereem looks for the body kick but Couture saw that one coming.
Couture moves out of range of the strikes.
Ubereem takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like R Couture has been cut.
Gigantor Ubereem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture misses with a double jab.
Ubereem lands with a cross.
Couture throws a head kick that misses.

Ubereem misses with a kick to the body.
Ubereem fails with a takedown attempt.
Couture throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ubereem is looking to clinch but Couture is avoiding it.
Ubereem throws a sloppy head kick and Couture moves out of range easily.
Couture takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ubereem.

Ubereem avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ubereem feints and as Couture raises his hands in defense, Ubereem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ubereem sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Couture's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ubereem is stalling here. Couture is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ubereem seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Couture has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Ubereem bucks up and tries to throw Couture off but instead Couture has got his back!

Couture wants to control the position but Ubereem frees himself and scrambles - Couture manages to regain control in side control.
Couture is looking to take a break and control but Ubereem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's time! Ubereem's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Couture shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ubereem pinned against the cage. Ubereem gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice defenses there by Couture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Ubereem counters with a nice uppercut.

Ubereem throws a leg kick but Couture checks it.

Ubereem connects with a jab.
Ubereem throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ubereem.
Couture throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Ubereem crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
