Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lauri Torni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smooth Operator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torni comes to the cage accompanied by Gallowbraid - Ashen Eidolon. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torni lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Operator cracks a nice hook into Torni's ribs.
Torni misses the shot to the body.
Operator takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Torni throws a nice looking combination but Operator bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Operator moves forwards but Torni connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Operator throws a hook but Torni avoids it easily.
Torni moves into the clinch successfully.
Torni throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Operators head.
Torni escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torni attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Operator lands with a right hand.
Torni lands a nice looking kick to the body. Operator takes a step back to recover.

Operator takes a swing at Torni's ribcage but misses.

Torni loads up on a big right hand but Operator slips the punch.

Torni moves into the clinch successfully.

Operator takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Operator fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Torni manages to avoid it.
Operator stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Torni.

Operator takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Torni lands a big head kick that sends Operator tumbling to the mat! Torni takes a step backwards and waves Operator back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Operator is rocked!
Torni connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Operator is still on wobbly legs! Can Torni finish him?
Torni lands with a big right hook that stumbles Operator - he's out on his feet here! Torni follows up with another monster hook that separates Operator from consciousness! Operator falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Torni stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lauri Torni!
