PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fury kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rammstein - Te Quiero Puta. The crowd seem to be enjoying Driver's choice of entrance music: Candy Paint. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Driver feints and as Fury raises his hands in defense, Driver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Driver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fury can't fight it off and eventually Driver manages to take the fight to the floor. Fury looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

It looks like Brian Fury has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Driver lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The referee calls for Driver to work.
Driver throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Furys head.
Driver stalling against the cage.
Fury looking to throw knees to the head but Driver is blocking nicely.
Driver gets through Fury's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Driver cracks Fury with a nice body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Driver turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Driver manages to end up in side control.

Fury does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Driver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
