The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grace lands a body shot.
Caine fails in his attempt to clinch.

Grace tries to bum rush Caine with a series of wild strikes but Caine uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

I looks like Caine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Grace pulls Caine in close to his closed guard and prevents Caine from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Caine dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grace. That did some damage!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Caine. Grace shrugs it off though.
Grace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Derrick Grace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caine stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Caine wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derrick Grace.
