The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A head kick lands from Anduw that sends Hamlet to the canvas. Hamlet tries to scramble back to his feet but Anduw brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Josh Hamlet has been cut.
A lull in the action here.
Hamlet tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Anduw presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Hamlet is breathing heavily.
Hamlet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Anduw looking to control and managing it successfully.

Anduw is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Anduw misses with a head kick.
Anduw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hamlet sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hamlet throws a right and a left that Anduw avoids nicely.
Hamlet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Anduw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hamlet's waist but Hamlet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anduw off to one side.

Anduw lands with a hook. Hamlet tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Anduw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hamlet manages to avoid it.
Anduw misses with a head kick.
Hamlet misses with a series of wild punches.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Anduw misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hamlet throws the left hand but Anduw avoids the punch easily.
Hamlet swats away the attempt to clinch by Anduw.
Anduw fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Josh Hamlet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gen Anduw.

Hamlet throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Anduw sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hamlet to the ground! Anduw dives into full mount looking to finish!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anduw stands up from mount. Strange move.
Anduw tries to clinch but Hamlet is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oh Hamlet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hamlet tries to bum rush Anduw with a series of wild strikes but Anduw uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Anduw cracks Hamlet with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hamlet tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anduw pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hamlet is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
