Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Phillip Octomense!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Octomense tries to keep at a distance but Stroud has taken the fight into the clinch.
Octomense jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stroud walks away with a smile on his face. Octomense gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Octomense motions for Stroud to come forward. Octomense throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stroud connects with the punch.
Stroud checks a low kick from Octomense.

Stroud closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Stroud makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Octomense fails to pull guard.

Stroud breaks the clinch.

Stroud clinches up with Octomense and pushes him back against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Stroud.
Stroud lands a nice shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stroud breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stroud fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Stroud has closed the distance and engaged Octomense in a clinch.
Stroud pushes Octomense back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Stroud.
Octomense fails to pull guard.
Les Stroud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phillip Octomense.

Octomense goes for a takedown in the clinch but Stroud prevents it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stroud creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Octomense bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stroud throws a hook but Octomense avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Stroud misses its intended target.

Stroud looks to land a left hand but Octomense moved out of range nicely.
Stroud misses with a straight left.
Stroud is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Octomense hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
